Charcoal models for refurbishment

I just wrapped up a rehab on a propane Weber silver b and was thinking at some point of doing the same with a charcoal Weber. Any particular models/years that are ideal for rehab or ones that should be avoided? Are there any common structural flaws to look out for? Obviously, it will come down to condition but what’s a reasonable going rate on salvage? Appreciate the feedback.

Any performer is worth a good rehab.

Not many moving pieces with charcoal grills. Basically just have to clean it up really well and replace broken or missing pieces. Main thing you want to avoid are bad rust areas on the lid or bowl....can't really fix those.

To expand on what Kyle said, pay close attention to any welded places like handles and leg pockets. They often develop rust over time.
