Carhartt Clothing

So, I gotta ask. What does wearing canvas feel like? I think of canvas and I think it is the last thing I want on my body
The coats were pretty stiff when new but they "break in" after a while and they're not so bad. The inside has a nice tufted liner. I had a one piece heavy insulated overall as well. Called it my gingerbread man suit (because, well... that's what it looked like). It was made the same way. Zippers on that one lasted too. Good stuff.

I will say, the first time I tried one on I thought, "What the heck. This thing is like wearing a cardboard box." But the durability and dependability that followed were well worth the break in time.

I’m a huge fan of Carhartt. My oilfield days, my go to was all Carhartt, duck pants and overalls and hoodies and duck jacket. The pants wore out and faded so have been replaced three times in almost 20 years, still wear the jacket, and the overalls are like new, almost never worn, because they’re insulated and that insulation is SERIOUS.

They had an insulated pullover hoodie that I loved, had I know they would get discontinued I would have bought four of them to last a lifetime. I don’t like zip ups.

Expensive. Yes trendy. But solid stuff.
