Capacity of WSM For Spare Ribs

Going to be testing out some recipes on my WSM this sunday and I was wondering what the rough capacity was when using Rib Racks?

I was going to try to squeeze in an 8lb Boston Butt an maybe 5 slabs but I'm wondering if that will allow sufficient airflow for cooking.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

I guess it depends on what style ribs your
cooking.

st louis style, W/O the tips. you should get
5 on there, using 2 racks (depending on what style of racks of course)

you won't have room for a butt though,

I have cooked 10 racks of St Louis style spares at one time using a Weber rib rack on both levels of the WSM. It is built to hold 4 slabs and I leaned the 5th up on the front slab in the holder. Worked like a charm.

One butt and 5 slabs shouldn't be a problem in my opinion.

I'm curious, when you cook ribs and butts do you add the ribs after the butt has been on for a few hours or do you start everything at once and remove the ribs when they are done?
