Can I disassemble Genesis to fit it Jetta?

Nothing. Totally faded.

Later 90s makes sense. My 1997 Spirit/Skyline has the same durawood.

Which brings up a question I've had for a bit -- I've seen this other type of durawood (?) side tables (this grill is from restoredgrills.com) which seem to be have narrow (or no?) gaps between the slats. Are those an earlier or later design than the more common?

Dan, Early solid plastic table with no slots. My guess is 98-thru 2000. The model might be a Spirit 500

Dan,
The late 90's Spirit's had those solid plastic tables.
See my Weber Spirit restore post I made about my 1999 Weber Spirit 700-

Jeff

Thanks guys. That Spirit 700 is a beaut and a lovely story.

So it goes:
  • 80s-early 90s: Wood
  • mid-late 90s: Durawood slats
  • Late 90s: Solid plastic tables (w/ indents)
  • Early 2000s: Solid plastic tables (no indents)
  • 2009 (?) - now: Stainless
?

Came across this post, looks exactly like my new grill. It even has the narrow/long logo badge. Sounds like the owner might be right that it's 25 years old ('95).

How about this one?

It's mine. Dusty from sitting in the back of the owner's machine shop for most of its life.
