I visited Grand Central Market to have lunch at Wexler's Deli and try their famous pastrami sandwich, but afterwards I snuck outside to sample the brisket at Horse Thief BBQ. It was really quite good, sliced thick and very moist and tender, but not fall apart tender. Got to sample both flat and point with a minimum 1/3 pound purchase. Three Ole Hickory pits were visible through the window.
I'll have to get back there for an official lunch someday. I saw brisket sandwiches with fries and other sides going out the pickup window and all looked great! There's also a full bar and shaded outdoor patio for dining, drinking, and people watching.
