Butt on horizontal smoker

Been doing most of my smoking on the My WSM clone, just so easy!
Got a 4 1/2 lb trimmed , fresh butt from the local grocery, & the weather is so pleasant I decided to cook it on my New Braunfels horizontal smoker!, more interactive, but I have the day off ,wife's been @ convention , & not home till 5 pm , so me & the dog on the deck cooking, reading a book & solving the worlds problems life doesn't get much better!http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz203/Lostarrow-photos/3cd217e3.jpg[/img] ]

You may have "pasted" twice. Click on the edit button and check what you pasted to the clipboard.

Good beer! So is that smoker basically the same as using a kettle with an indirect heat? I see no fire box so I assume the wood/coals go in the bottom where the grate aint.

The firebox is underneath the main chamber with a panel that directs the smoke to the opposite end.smoker no longer made , company out of business , I baby it cause can't get parts
Main chamber is 36 in X 17 in with great cast iron grates use as a grill mostly , a WSM is easier to smoke on & makes as good or better product!
