We cooked these burgers the other night after the local high school football game. Friday night lights in Redlands with 2 hometown rivals -- my daughter's school got their a** handed to them by the crosstown team - REV. Fun times still:) So we decided to grill up some burgers and surprisingly, the local grocery store still had some corn on the cob.

Gotta start off with my favorite beer - Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA - 9% Alcohol...goes down real smooth!

Fresh cucumber salad with tomatoes, red onions, and seasoning. Makes me think I am eating healthy with burgers:)

Corn and potatoes getting happy!

Burgers now hitting the grill!

Close up shots!

Your plate - enjoy!

Thought I would share a cool photo of the canyons in my town of Redlands. We have a rich history of Orange groves. While there are not as many groves as in the early days, we still have them in our canyons and some families still have large groves on their land mixed in with the residential neighborhoods. Great place to raise my children and share my life with my wife, Holly.

Thanks for looking!

Great meal Jeff! I like the onion/skewer trick; being from Delaware way back when, gotta like the dogfish, and nice pic of the neighborhood.

Jeff; beautiful cook and the burgers look fantastic!! I always enjoy driving through your area and other parts of southern California - Fallbrook, Pauma Valley and the desert (Borrego) when the orange blossoms are in bloom. Beautiful smell and very pretty areas. You are living the Good Life!
