No, that's not a new Korean car. Kettle Fried Green Tomatoes.

Green tomatoes rolled in seasoned flour, eggwashed and then tossed in breadcrumbs.

The verdict: KFGTs are definitely worth doing, but a lot slower than actually frying them. The grill taste makes up for the time. Thanks for looking!

I forgot to mention that the breaded tomatoes were also sprayed generously with oil before going on the kettle.
