Decided to get the old smoker out and cook some grub. The thighs and breasts with some Penzey's Forward on and the fattie was infused with sage, mozzarella cheese, spicy Worcestershire.
Getting fire going
After an hour
45 min more, add sauce
15 min later breasts & fattie off and wings on coals to crisp skin
Buffalo sauce on the thighs using recipe Original Buffalo Wings recipe from Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce:
My plate with some sweet potato fries
Thighs and fattie was wonderfully excellent. For some reason the breasts seemed overly smokey. Weird, everything went on at the same time and the thighs were even on a little longer when I seared them? I also brined all the chicken in same brine at same time....any ideas, because those breasts were VERY smokey?
I love that buffalo recipe..excellent, excellent, excellent.
