Brush or foamy roller?

The recently obtained redhead genesis junior is nearing completion as the firebox is back from blasting on Monday.
I decided to opt for the below as apposed to the rattle cans.

My question is, does one use brush or foam roller for best application? Thanks.

Don't have a link for them, but I buy mine at Ace hardware.

Thread cutting nuts. I forget the shaft size.

Or just glue it on with high heat RTV red.

Most of the older Genesis badges used what they call "Push nuts" They were tiny and thin. Some used thread cutting nuts like the ones they use to hold the end caps to the lid.
I get mine at a local hardware store. I am sure I could save some money if I bought 50 or 60 of them from amazon. The HW store charges about a quarter each.

I have also used the Red RTV with good results as well.

I am not sure what size is the appropriate one for the badges. I go by look when I buy them, not numerical size.

As far a brush vs foam roller on the paint, I think most use a brush. I just use rattle cans.

Thanks, i have always done rattle but keen to try brush on! I am a bit of an artist so this will help lol!!
