BRITU using spares instead of loin back?

Hey folks,

Bullet newbie with a quick question. Can you cook spares using the BRITU recipe? I've only cooked loin back thus far, and have been curious to try out some spares. It seems like the recipe for spares has gotten mixed reviews on this site, and so I was looking for a guaranteed winner. Let me know what you think.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't substitute spares. You would just need to increase the cook time by about one hour.

keep a record of your temps/times and test the "bend" around 4 hrs....may need more, may need less...

Done it many times with spares, turn out great each time. Just need to increase your cooking time.
