BRITU on brisket anyone tried?

Morning all,
Getting ready for what we call the trifecta of BBQ: brisket, ribs and chicken this weekend.
My last rib efforts were great and I've got BRITU rub left over, wondered if anyone has used it on beef brisket?
I have used Chris Lilly's rub recipe in the past, very pleased with it, but thought I'd ask the folks here for some thoughts.

Too much sugar in that rub by itself for brisket in my opinion. But, if you stretch the BRITU rub with some ancho chili powder or the like + more salt, pepper, and garlic/onion powders, I think the BRITU base would give a decent spice profile to the brisket.
