Briskets and Butt this weekend

I plan on cooking a couple of flats and a pork shoulder for Easter in a 22.5" WSM. Should I put the Butt on top shelf and the flats underneath or the other way around, not sure of the effect of the pork fat on the brisket.
Thanks

While I am not one to do mixed meat cooks, many do. The preference with butt and brisket is usually butt on top, for continuous basting. Your choice though.

Like Kevin says either way works fine. I prefer to go brisket on top and butts on the bottom because I always foil the brisket and it is easier to access on the top.
