Brisket?

I am going to try my hand at a brisket next week and would like to find a recipe for a good rub. From what I have seen so far they are close a typical butt rub.

Thanks
Mike

Mike, I'd suggest one of the Willingham rubs. Mild and not-so-mild are posted HERE. You can skip the simmering step and the cornstarch, if you wish - that just helps to keep the rub free-flowing during storage.

Mike, Last time I used kinda what Jon used. Made it up as I went along. Really,I put on things I thought would taste good on a roast or a steak. I thought about buying at Sams one of those Montreal type steak seasonings and rubbing that on next time or some rosemary and garlic stuff that they had. So many options to chose from.
