Is the RO Chef's Select the same as their regular briq, only larger? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I don't know. The ROCS is all natural, like Rancher. Are regular RO briqs all Natural?

I've always heard and read good things about Lazzari.
I've only ever seen and bought it once - forget which Lazzari lump it was. I did not care for it. Talk about crackle and spit ... + I thought it just burned to darn quick. Maybe I just had a bad bag.

I tried the Royal Oak Ridge briquettes this weekend for about an 8 hour smoke at about 275 degrees. Did the basic minion with 3/4 full ring and about 20 lit briqs. I probably could have gone another 3 or 4 hours. I was very happy with it. Plus the 18 lb bag only costs $4.97 at Menards.
