Briddell Cleavers

Does anyone know anything about Briddell of Crisfield knives? I found a little information online but not much. There is a Craiglist in my area for 2 8" Cleavers and one of them is a Briddell the other has not markings. They are wanting $40 for the Briddell.

A quick search on eBay's past auctions shows that they mostly sell for $20 or less.
