Breaking in new Master Touch grill

After 20+ years of dedicated service I’m retiring my old Weber kettle. Moved up to a 22 Master Touch. Broke it in Sunday grilling burgers for the family. Today I’m smoking ribs - breaking it in right. I’ll just consider the burgers as seasoning the grates.

Looking good so far! I’m supposed to be working on putting in the yard but I’d rather be doing this 😎👍🏼

Greg, my old one didn’t survive the move very well. It was dropped, but it showed no damage except the handle on the lid broke off. It was a good excuse for a bigger kettle 👍🏼

Last year I upgraded from a three(3) year old Weber Master Touch(WMT) to a Weber Performer Deluxe(WPD) which are both excellent kettles. IMO Can't beat a WPD with the Propane Gas Assist and Metal Table.

I gifted my WMT to a friend and neighbor but it was stolen from his front patio a few weeks later.
