While checking my Pork/rib binder, I found this.

Blackjack Bourbon Peach Sauce

"Makes about 1 1/4 cups; enough to sauce 3 lbs. of ribs, 2 lbs. of drumsticks, or 2 lbs. of ham steaks"

1/4 cup peach preserves
1/3 cup bourbon
1/3 cup raspberry or other fruit vinegar
1 TB. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/4 to 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce

1. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except hot pepper sauce. Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring often, until lightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Stir in the hot pepper sauce to taste.
2. The sauce can be made up to a month ahead and refrigerated. Reheat before brushing on during the last 10 minutes of grilling.

Wowzers ...That Blackjack Bourbon Peach sauce sounds awesome Joan.
Might be time to break out the 26R and do some High Heat Ribs this weekend.

Thanks Jeff, it does sound good. I put ribs on the shopping list. Hope to try this sauce real soon. lol

This does sound good. I've had a Whiskey Peach BBQ Sauce on deck for a while, that came from the Hey Grill Hey site. Hers has ketchup though.
Maybe I'll get around to making that one and we can compare notes.

Is Blackjack a brand of bourbon?

Brenda, nothing showed up in a search except this recipe. Your recipe sounds really good. Hope you make it and you like it.
