Black Paint choices for Spirit/Genenis

TVWBB All-Star
Restoring my Weber 700 Spirit that I purchased new in 1999.
It is completely disassembled and after having the frame re-welded in several areas I want to paint it as well as the firebox and lid end caps.

I will be using Brake Caliper paint for the frame, not that it get hot, but it is highly chip resistant.

I am curious what you guys who have done past restorations have used-
Matte/Satin/Gloss/Semi-Gloss?

What brand of paint have you have success with?
I might try this Krylon:

or this Rustoleum:

If you can let me know what you have used and post a Pic that would help me out immensely.

Thanks guys,
Jeff

Don't have a pic available, but the Rust-Oleum is what I used when I rehabbed my Genesis. You should be able to pick it up at HomeDepot. They have it in flat or semi gloss.

I just finished painting my grill after disassembly. I used rust-oleum gloss black for the frame and a matte black for the lid end caps and exterior of the firebox. The matte black does look a little grey in sunlight compared to gloss black, but I think it provides a nice contrast. I can't comment as to the durability, but I've generally had good luck with rust-oleum products. Good luck, post some pictures when you get a chance.
