Got to installing my billows on my 26er.. made the hole and I had an extra damper so mine as well add that so I can close it when not in use or use it for more air flow
Blackds out rims, blacked out handles, blacled out ash bucket, grommet.... and added a seal. I think she's ready to rock

I'm more interested in the Weber bandana than the Billows mod. :D Where did you get that sucker from?

Seriously, that's a neat little mod. Others considering Billows on a kettle could also use a knockout plug to fill the hole when not in use.

That's a very cool mod. And nice clean job doing it. Did you touch up any of the areas where you drilled with touch up paint to prevent rusting? Or you just going to keep it oiled/seasoned?
Post a picture of the grill from a few feet back so we can see all those upgrades in one picture!

Hi temp paint on a q tip but I never had an issue with rusting on my other kettles.. i just had it

i'd be curious on the performance of an ATC on a kettle. i have a party Q for my WSM, and have debated if it would work just as well on a kettle.

Sounds like it's working pretty well. Certainly takes a lot of the work out of smoking. Nice job on the video...only suggestion I have is to hold your phone sideways next time. It will get rid of those black bars on the side.
