Like my husband Brian said, Sunday was a great day to be a Bostonian (he's an ex-, having lived in N.O. almost 40 years). First, the Pats win with 4 seconds left (we won't mention that hold that the refs missed on the last play), and then, in typical Red Sox fashion, they pull out a win in the bottom of the 9th. Knowing the Sox, it was probably two outs with a 3 and 2 count -- they do indeed make you sweat!

We Saints fans were disappointed, but it was definitely the best football game all season! We have a bye this week to recover!

and 2 great games as it turned out! I have to admit I went to bed when the Red Sox were trailing 5-0....but when I heard the news this morning.....well , you know!

I'll have to admit that I went to bed the other night after the 11th inning of the Cards/Dodgers 13 inning game.
But was still awake when my wife came to bed and told me that the Cards had won.
