Hello all I'm new to posting here but have used this site for years as a reference guide. I have been buying up weber kettles for some cooking classes we are doing and have become hooked on collecting . This past weekend I scored a " Simpsons OTG in great shape and a WSM date code " P " that has never been cooked on.

I put the Simpsons in my buddies BBQ restaurant, he cooks everything on webers. But now I am debating on using the WSM for personal use and competitions, what do you think ? Use it or leave it alone ?

Welcome to the greatest Q forum on the planet.

Keep it pristine. If you use it you're going to love the food and everyone that smells it is going to want some. Then you'll have to cook more and eat more and listen to compliments about your food. Who would want that?

Me? I'd crank that sucker up and enjoy the ribs.

Webers are a must for the patio and they (WSM) can hold their own on the circuit as well..just ask Harry Soo!!
