Best source for Probes

Golly, why are ET-72/73 probes so hard to find now? I have seen that ET-733 probes are "compatible with ET-732". Does that mean that they have the extra long plugs that are a pain to insert, and need grounding to remove their noise? Anyone tested to see if they have the same coefficients?

I usually go through Amazon or direct from ThermoWorks and/or Maverick....

The 72/73's are sold out just about everywhere. I just checked Maverick's site and they are sold out. I would love to use the Thermoworks probes, but they just don't work correct when I use them like the 72/73.

Hopefully Maverick is doing some re-grooving of their probes so they have better moisture resistance before they do another production run, and that is why they are out of stock everywhere... One can only hope.....
