Nice pictures Tony. The wife and I used to go to the L.A.C.F when we lived in Lake Forest in Orange County before moving to Prescott Az 12 years ago, sure do miss it nothing like that here.
Looks like everyone had a good time. Seems so odd that out in LA they hold the fair in September. Are the fairs there a 4-H fair? Around me the county fairs start in June and run through July and no food quite as good looking as those ribs. I like the beer wagon idea.
What do you mean 4- H fairs?
They always hold the fair here in September and in Orange County its in August.
All of the fairs around here are 4-H fairs. Agriculture based organization that is for children and teens. They raise livestock and compete in various other activities like baking and sewing. That is the real backbone of the fairs at least here in Indiana. Most of the fairs have the traditional midway and concerts and demolition derbies and such. The county I live in doesn't even have rides. It is strictly a 4-H fair with a few food vendors.
This fair has everything. Horse racing, concerts, all farm animals. 1/4 of the property is for livestock. 6 buildings for vending. This place is pretty big.
Sounds like an amazing fair. Not sure I could find 12 hours of stuff to do around here at the fair.
