Here are some before and after pictures of the handles off an old baby blue. The grill is not mine. I needed an old set of two rivet handles for a grill I am fixing up. So I needed it for reference. Once I got the old dimentions we were able to reverse engineer the handle. From there we drew them up and cut them on a CNC machine. I think they came out awesome. It is nice to be able to switch out the old two rivet style handles. A lot of them are so old they have rotted into oblivion.

THATS GREAT! Would you know where I can get 3 handles and rivets to fix up my old red 22.5? I made the mistake of using the kettle as a firepit one night. Only thing that happened was handles got a bit burnt.

Well the rivets have proved to be quite a problem. I wasn't able to find them. And after looking at all my alternatives, I turned to a little subterfuge. I decided to use wood screws, then cover them up with small discs of aluminum that I sandblasted. I figured it was the easiest way. I thought I would just use some epoxy putty and glue them to the top of the wood screw. This way I have options. I can just leave it and then I have access to taking the handles off, or if I have an old classic I'm restoring and it needs to have that look, then I just epoxy on the discs and it looks vintage.

I just found the artwork on brandsoftheworld.com. Do we think they only put it on all the handles or just the front one? When did they start doing it? It seems to only be on the one screw style handle.
