Beer can chicken question.

I have the 18.5 WSM
How many 3.5 to 4 pound beer can chickens will fit?
I'm working on a grill logistics problem for a large party cook, and it'd be nice to be able to fit 2 on each rack.
 
Why not do 2 on your WSM and 2 on your Performer, that way you will not have to struggle for room.

I'd usually do all 4 of them on the Performer with my riser ring, but I'm going to be cooking County Fair Sausages on the Performer.
My menu for the day will be:
  • ABTs
  • Bacon wrapped Pretzels with beer cheese dip
  • Jalapeno and Cheddar Cheese Beer Bread
  • Corn casserole
  • County Fair Sausage
  • Beer Can Chicken
  • Hot Dogs
  • Pirate Baked Beans
  • Grilled Pineapple

To do this I'll be using every inch of my grills.
The County Fair Sausage starts life on the gasser, then bakes for 2 hours on the Performer once that comes off the Pineapple will go on.
The Pirate Baked Beans will go on the 18" Gold with the poppers and Pretzels
The Dogs will be done on the SJ
The Bred and Corn Casserole will be done on the gasser
That leaves the WSM for the chicken.

It's going to be one of those days where I can justify having all my Webers.
