Beer can chicken high heat for tomorrow

Tomorrow for Moms day I am planning on cooking 2 whole chickens. I am planning on doing hi heat using 1-2 fully lit chimneys in the WSM with a foiled water pan. My dilema is wether or not to brine the chicken tonight. I have no experience when it comes to brining and am looking for thoughts.
 
I would look and see if the chicken has been previously injected with a sodium soln.. If so what %...
 
I have brined and not brined and cannot really tell that much of a difference.

I'm sure the more experienced will chime in shortly!

Well I won't know that until I get off work today and pick the birds up. I didn't think about them being pre-treated. I would think that would take place of doing a brine.
 
I never brined and I get good results. I would like to suggest no water in the pan and just foil it.
