Sure, come on over! I have to admit I pretty much hate everything about kalifornia except for one thing; the weather. The weather is so good, I can overlook everything else bad about kalifornia. Let me tell you (after the recent elections) there's plenty to hate about kalifornia, so the weather really has to work hard, to fix so much wrong

I left San Diego (north county) 10yrs ago. Took me about a year to get over it. I still miss the weather and logistics. Not many people can say they surfed perfect 4-6 in the morning, grabbed a killer carne asada burrito and headed to the mountains to do some boarding by mid afternoon. Then went down the back side to end up doing wheels by moonlight in ocotillo wells. I was super naive to issues kalifornia had before I left. Now I'm just a happy redneck in the midwest who loves his freedmon. I love to visit friends and family, but I don't think I could ever move back. Unfortunately it's just a matter of time before most of those issues bleed out this way. You do have a nice piece of the pie there ChuckO. Can't beat a 70degree day in Cali in Nov.

Hey Chucko - nice looking set up - is there a troll under the bridge?
FWIW: We dry our White Oak for two years before it gets in the fire. Re: the loose Daisy Wheel. I flipped my kettle over (onto a towel) and gently tapped with 'em a hammer to kinda re-mold them to the kettle curve.
