thanks craig, I didn't realize there was more than one BBG,the online reviews look pretty poor. I've had their pulled pork at the Big Apple BBQ and it's been great so maybe the restaurant in alabama is good. I've heard good things about bill spoon but given my limited time in nc, I think I should find bbq cooked over wood.
right now I'm leaning towards keatons, a trip to lex or mcKoys but it depends on flight delays, etc. Unfortunately, I just have time when I get off the plane, the rest of my stay is business.
