BBQ Guru/Heater Meter compatibility?

Hello, Hello.... I do my cooking on a large BGE....it is a love affair, no doubt. A quick question. I recently was given a BBQ Guru PV10 cfm as a gift. I am looking at adding a Heater meter 4.2.... Are there any compatibility issues between the two? Also, looking for a recommendation of an electrical contact. Thank you, ahead of time!

Any blower under 28cfm would be compatible. the only thing is you would need to make a patch cable for the connector on the PV10 so that it can connect to a Cat5 cable or you can just cut the connector off and use the wires from it to connect to a cat5 cable

I had issues with my PV 10CFM not running below 60% fan speed, and had to change the blower capacitor from 22 uF to 33 uF. I still have issues with it not running at lower speeds. Maybe a higher value (47 uF) will work. I'm using the 4.0 board, so there may not be issues with a 4.2 build, as these are upgraded to run variable voltage to control speed, instead of PWM.

I don't use my PV fan anymore, it's just too unreliable for me.
