BBQ Beans In A WSM ????

I like to cook a Steven Raichlens "Best BBQ Beans On The Planet" but have allways done them on my Platinum.......... I was wondering if anyone has tried doing beans on the WSM and if so how did they turn out ? I would have thought the heat in a WSM would be to low for them to thicken up ???

Beans turn out great on the WSM. Especially when placed on the lower rack below some ribs. The drippings really add flavor.

for sure they turn out good on the WSM,

like another poster said put em' on the bottom so they catch the drippings from a butt, ribs, or brisket. I save some of my pulled pork from previous smokes and mix it in.

HE!! Yeah! It's a sin if you don't cook your beans under something dripping goodness down into them, minus poultry of course. My favorite beans recipe.
