Bay Area kitchen/restaurant supply store recommendations

I’m down in the Bay Area and one thing I want to do is pick up some good kitchen supplies.
Where I’m at in Washington we have a Walmart and a Costco and their selection is rather limited.
I used to go to a couple of restaurant supply stores for things years ago here but I’m not sure they are still in business since I couldn’t find them last time I was here.
Could any of you recommend a decent kitchen supply store?
Thanks.

I’m not sure.
I think I will use my iPhone yellow pages app and Google to see what I can find.

There is a Business Costco in Hayward (closest to Danville) - the selection is much less than they used to carry, but if they have it, you will not find it cheaper anywhere

Another advantage of Business Costco is that they have real-time inventory of that location. Prices are listed as delivered and are cheaper in store. Note: you must use a browser as the Costco app will not let you browse the BC inventory

Otherwise you can try Chefstore (aka US Foods/Sysco)…

Restaurant Depot in San Jose, you need to have a business license or KCBS membership to get in, although I'm told you can sometimes finagle your way in if you ask for a free day pass. Or Costco Business Center in Hayward or San Jose.

I just visited this restaurant supply in Oakland to get some accessories for my new griddle insert - broad range of goods and reasonable prices
