Basic Barbecued Chicken Recipe Question

Hey all

Quick question in regard to the Basic Barbecued Chicken Recipe here and in Low and Slow. Both call for 2 whole chickens, split -- but all me an my wife need to feed us is a single chicken. Does this cause any issues following the recipes? Do I use the same amount of charcoal, the same times, and so on? I'm cooking on an 18.5 WSM.

Yes use the same times and coal amounts.
