Saw some RO briquettes on clearance at Lowes last week. Silly me had to ask y'all if they were ok. Went back today, all gone. Silly me. But I did find a new source for lump. Pure hardwood lump,$16 for a huge bag at a True Value up the road. Oh well.

Phil, if you're ever in Winston-Salem you can get Nature-Glo lump charcoal (made by Royal Oak) at the ChefSmart at 557 S. Stratford Road.

20-pound bags usually run around $9.00 each.
Here is the Naked Whiz review of Nature-Glo.

Phil
where is this TV with Lump?

All I have found lately is the BGE lump, which is good stuff but pricier for the long cooks.

So what are you guys paying for Royal Oak lump? The local Wally World had the 10 lb bag for %5.97 today and had about half a pallet left.

Pat

Jeff,it's actually in Denver,on HWY 16 just past Hwy 73. Not too bad for me,since I live in Shuffletown. Go past the new Lowes and Wallyworld and it's on the left.
