Bacon in the sauce

I made a batch of barbecue sauce. When canning I added some other last ingredients: bacon drippings, honey and (very) hot sauce to a few jars.

Has anyone had success with this? The bacon drippings jars don?t look right. Looks like white grease on the inside. Bacteria?
 
Pork fat is white when it is cold. When I was a kid and we killed hogs on the farm and rendered the fat into lard it turned snow white. Even if you buy lard today in the store its white.
