A Butt, 3 racks of Baby Backs, and 4 Baked Apples
I put the butt on at 5:30 this morning, using the Mr. Brown recipe. (I can't stray from it, I just love the results!) The Baby Backs went on at 2:30 this afternoon, the temp probe read 194 in the Boston Butt, but it didn't 'feel' right. Checked again at 3:15 and off came Mr. Brown! It is 5:15 now and I just got in from putting the 4 baked apples (stuffed with snickers bars) on the bottom rack. Temp on the lid is holding steady at 250, MAN i LOVE MY WSM! Hoping the ribs will be finished by 6:30, and the apples around 7:00 just in time to hold for 30 mins and then desert!!
Forgive me guys, didn't get any prep pics, but I hope to some of the ribs and the apples when finished.

Um, Tim? Did you say "baked apples stuffed with snickers bars"? If you did, please let us know if there's anything more to it than that, along w/ cook temps/times. That sounds awesome, as does the rest of your cook. Thanks much!

Tim Good luck with everything and let the Timing god be with you!

Jiim and Wolgast, Having never tried the recipe before, I don't really have anything to comutpare this batch of bakedapples to, but I think they got a little to soft for my taste. I told my wife I probably wouldn't make them again, but she told me they tasted great! The friends that came over really liked them also, so I plan on giving them another shot! All in all, its a pretty simple desert to prepare. Wolgast, did you peel your apples at all, or just slice the top off and add the Snickers and brown sugar? (I did not peel any on my apples)
Thanks, Tim
