Does any one have or use one that they would recommend?
I'm interested in this one.
I've had many hand held ones but the vibration and weight gets to my old wrists and hands.

I've had my Stihl 420 for the better part of 12-15 years now. Absolutely love it!

Same as Tim K. We have the stihl 420 at the ranch for at least 13 years now. Never misses a beat, is powerful and still starts on the first pull after the choke pull.

I wonder if their are battery ones. I bought a "Greenworks" IIRC 80V trimmer. I LOVE that thing! It lasts a VERY long time, quiet and powerful.

3 votes for Stihl 420, I'll check that out.
I've seen some battery ones at HD, actually an employee was using one in the parking lot when I pulled up.
Not sure how long they last on a charge.

Echo makes good stuff. I have a couple of their chainsaws and have had no problems with them.
For serious blowing, I have been very happy with our Stihl BR600.
The neighbors are jealous when I blow the leaves around in the fall, so that’s an added benefit!😃4DE4C4C9-178F-4344-B530-FC475720890D.jpeg

They didn't merge they were all bought out by one conglomerate. MTD I think but may be wrong. Now their "professional" lines may be different. It's like when you go into Home Depot or any other big box. Look at lawn tractors. They're blatantly all the same. No matter the color or brand. Only bits of trim and headlights are different. Yet go into an actual dealer for any brand i.e. John Deere and you will see a totally different product

I've noticed Echo models# are either followed with a H or T.
H means the throttle or speed is controlled by a hip controller on your left side.
T means the controller is mounted on the tube on your right side. I like that, using one hand instead of two.
Most of the reviews seem to like that also.

That makes it easier to drink beer while you blow leaves.
