Ha ha yup, they contacted me a few months ago asking if it were legal for them to manufacture and sell HeaterMeters. I told them that the design is free as long as it is attributed. I was hoping they'd contribute a little more than just taking the exact design and producing it (in SMD I believe). I mean they have engineering resources, they could make a better HeaterMeter and we could work together!
They did offer to sell them to me at a discount if I wanted to sell them in the HeaterMeter store too, but I'll just let them do what they're doing because you can customize your blower and whatnot and I don't want to have to deal with that.
And I think it is a pretty good deal for $300 with everything including wifi. A Stoker would be $100 more!
