Made some this weekend, and boy are they GOOD. i ate about 3 or 4 halves, since there were other guests who also enjoyed them, i would have eaten many more if I could have/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif!
Those sound mighty fine. It might be fun to leave the jalape?o seeds and membranes in a few of them. It wouldn't be hard to tell which of your guests got the lively ones!
I agree the ATB's are great! The first batch I made I took out all of the membrane and they had no heat at all, very tasty! The second batch I left a little of the membrane in and they had a ton of heat! Those who liked heat loved em. Next time I will do some of each. beware for those who do not like heat, it doesn't take much of the membrane to add a ton of heat.
Just last night I finished an experiment. I froze some leftover ABT's to test thawing and re-heating. I let them thaw completely, then threw them on my grill, with medium, indirect heat, for about 15mns. They heated up just fine. The jalapeno held its texture through the freeze/thaw.
Now I have to make some more to have in the freezer!
