Been smoking a while and just bought a WSM. I am thinking of buying a ATC and don't know what to buy. I am looking at the stoker wifi and the digi q wifi. Any suggestion out there?
The DigiQ WiFi and Stoker are both fine products and there are diehard proponents for each. However, this forum is devoted to building your own ATC from a free and open design developed on this forum called the HeaterMeter. The folks in this forum are biased to believe that the HeaterMeter is superior in price and functionality to ATC products available for retail sale. In this forum we help each other out building them and resolving any problems that come up. If you possess the skills required to solder electronic components onto a printed circuit board and do some simple computer configuration, then perhaps the HeaterMeter may be a candidate choice for your ATC purchase. The parts cost, including sales tax and delivery charges, are a little less than half that of the retail ATC products.
