Little please, I just picked up 22 1/2 OTS date code AD (2010) from CL. I want to add the ash catcher for the OTG, so I called Weber and they said it cant be done. Can this be done with this model and where can I buy the parts ?
 
If you have a good relationship with the guy that owns the local hardware store he could probably get you one from Weber.
Or you can buy it off ebay. Search "weber ash catcher"
 
Is Weber saying it wont fit, or are they saying they wont sell the part? I'd be surprised if they wont sell the part to you.

You will need the ring, which snaps into the bottom and cost $9.99.

You will need the bucket + handle and cost $22.78.

The website said it could take 2 weeks to ship, I had mine 2 days after I ordered.

Check the bottom of your OTS and see if there are slots in the leg mounts. This is where the ring will snap in. If not, you can cut the slots, but a 2010 should have it.
