Are you serious Sirius?

For convenience, a lot of people have gotten away from writing checks so they either pay online or with autopay. Many of my alarm clients use auto pay for the convenience. Every couple of months we get a call that their accounts were hacked and they need to use a new card. Recently, I had a client call me with this problem and then he called again two months later with the same issue. My wife would like to use autopay for more things but I am not in favor of it. I do have to use it for a few business expenses but that can't be helped. Due to mail problems I now have to have a monthly payment to me auto deposited into my business account since the postal service has delivered that check to a neighbor and last month it was never delivered. I also have my social security check deposited into my account so the same issue doesn't occur. Technology can be our friend but to often it is not. To often many companies use this to their advantage and we get hurt by it. We are screwed one way or another.

Thanks for all the input.
To be clear, we do not have auto pay, we paid by check. so there's no credit card or bank account for them to draw funds on.
Apparently, somewhere in the small print, our agreement is for auto renewal.
All they can do is bill us if they won't let me cancel.

Jo only listens to one station on it, so there's no offer low enough for us to retain the service.

Jo and I do the same thing. Up here in the mountains only a few FM stations to listen to and only one I like. My car radio has been on that station for the 14 years we've lived here, never changed.

I was an early investor in SIRI & XMSR, XMSR was set to debut 9/12/2001...... their commercials had pianos falling out of the sky etc. Bad timing :).

I had one of their programming directors contact me just a few daze ago, on an unrelated topic.

What we have today with 4G was unimaginable back then. Cancel it & use pandora. if the head unit in her car doesn't have bluetooth then look into new ones that will allow hands-free calling. I'll dig in with a cheap/good recommendation if you'd like.

Thanks Clint.
She does have bluetooth and her phone is paired, mine too if I switch it over.
We have Boost Mobile (Sprint) pre-paid, I checked and we can use Pandora, iHeart etc etc with no data usage.

Sirius is cancelled, went rather smoothly with a gal who spoke very good English.I could have let it run out on 11/11 or cancel now and get a refund of $12, so I canceled now to be sure no funny business takes place.
Thanks again for all the input!

check out tune in radio too - I don't use it a lot but when I'm on the road looking for news I'll sometimes use it.
