Apricot Wood

Just got ahold of some apricot logs and was wondering what you all thought bout using them to smoke with. Any particular cut of meat you would think this would go well with, or is it not good to use?

I haven't personally tried apricot wood, but here is a link to a wood chart. According to this chart, apricot is "good with most meats."

Thanks for the reply. I need to test it out quick. B/c if it does turn out well, I have access to a whole tree of it!
Is there anything wrong with using a tree that was dead? No diseases that i know of, just dead.

I would think there would be absolutely nothing wrong with using the wood if the tree didn't die of some disease. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Gee, Scot, if it turns out you like it, that's a great score!
