Anything wrong?

I just had my single experience with my new grill just some days ago. I try to bake kebab on my new grill But I become totally confused due to fire kebabs.

At a rough guess to much "oil" Fatty meat or in their making and possibly too hot.

Possibly running your grill a bit too hot?

By cooking over direct heat you'll get flare ups. I prefer to cook indirect until almost done then finish over direct.
