Anyone upgraded the grates with these from Amazon?

One of the things that Weber did right on the SmokeFIre is making the grate size compatible with grates going back to the very first Genesis and up through current Spirit 3-burner grills. That offers a lot of options in cast iron, stainless, and ones with GBS and now the Crafted Kitchen.

I put the spirit 300 stainless on my grills. Great fit and sears well. The price is right. :D My EX6 reaches 600 in 19 minutes. My EX4 is even quicker. Possible causes: Damp pellets, pellet dust buildup at the motor end of the auger tube, fire pot grate is obstructed so enough air isn't getting through, and low fan output. You find the problem, fix it, and that grill will go from 60 to 600 in 15 minutes.
 
Buying grates from Amazon was the first and only grill grate mistake I have made........
Broil King propane......many years ago......just sayin.
