Anyone seen this? Premium gas grill from Germany - Flammkraft Block D

I think Zwilling is acting as the distributor in the U.S.?

IMO it looks kind of dopey and stupid, but Germans tend to nail details nobody else thinks about. That burner with the inbuilt logo lighting up as it heats is on another level. I can't imagine what getting parts for this must be like, or what a restoration would look like.

$13k lol. In Europe it's about half that. Still ridiculous, but hey, something a bit different.

While it may look a little hokey there is some solid looking ideas, engineering and craftsmanship there. I have a feeling those things cook like a million $$$$
Honestly they used ideas I've had floating around in my head for years. I think mfgrs have been simply building on variations of charcoal grill technology but these guys seem to have begun building a gas grill that starts with a clean slate and works to the advantages and efficiencies of gas vs charcoal. I honestly think they're on to something here though at $13k I don't think we'll see old Tom Horsman testing one anytime soon.
But, just you wait. The Chinese will get hold of this idea and maybe we'll be flooded with variations on this theme

That's a good point; A grill design that embraces propane/grass and doesn't attempt to mimic charcoal.

I found one "independent" review of a grill retailer in Germany doing a review (in German of course):

That thing is incredible. It looks very well thought out and engineered to the hilt. It also seems fairly field maintainable for cleaning. I wonder what the "ofendeck containers" do - catch drippings from the upper grates? Water for adding steam? Finally, I really like the wood handle - it looks very similar to the one I put on my Silver B block party grill! 😂

That grill is really nice. It’s the grill that Matt Moore uses on his show “Serial Griller”. It’s a new show that premiered Labor Day 2025 on the Hungry TV channel, filmed in his backyard in Nashville.

They really made it a point to level out the chassis and lock down and raise the wheels for no movement.
I would think that's for using water, somewhere.
