Anyone replace a crossover tube on the Spirit E330? Purchased 11-14-21

Depends on how often you cook. If you cook five times a week, I would say change it out every two weeks. Or if it is 1/4" full, then change it out.
Mostly go by how full it is. Just don't leave drippings in there too long as they will eat through the aluminum insert pan and make a mess of your main drip pan.

Keeping your grease trays clean is important but it's not going to solve or prevent the problem you had. Once a year, take out your grates and flavorizer bars and brush all the gunk off with a wire brush. Now do the same to the burner tubes and crossover. You shouldn't have to do any further disassembly than that to get everything reasonably clean. Scrape all the gunk out of the big grease tray and you're good until next year. Yes, you still need to periodically clean out the little grease tray during grilling season.
