did you hard mount the smoker to the platform?

No I decided not to hard mount for mobility reasons. For instance, it was raining a few weeks ago so I was able to take it off the platform and use the WSM on our covered front porch.

I mounted wheels to my 22 but took them off. The legs on the 22 naturally splay out instead of going straight down, so when the wheels are mounted, they tend to splay out also, and lock up when you roll it. DANGER. I’m going to make a rolling platform.
