Anyone buy smoking wood online


 
I got my oak "chunks" from Amazon yesterday. Looks like a lot of chips and shredded pieces of wood in the bag. The chunks that are there are on the small size. It's not worth my time and expense to send them back, but I won't order wood chunks from Amazon again.
 
Like Dan Crafton, I buy my wood from Smokinlicious. Their wood is fantastic!! I stopped getting wood from them for a while, and I started getting wood from DoItBest hardware's ship-to-store method. I noticed that I wasn't getting any smoke flavor from their cherry wood chunks no matter how many chunks I put in. I recently placed an order to Smokinlicious for 25 lbs of cherry and sugar maple. Today, I smoked a bone-in pork loin. The smoke flavor was back! From now on, all my smoking wood will be from Smokinlicious!!!!
