J JimmyF New member Aug 9, 2009 #1 Put 3 chuck steaks, 3" thick each and cooked for 5 hours. The last hour was foiled, these steaks are not tender, Cooking temp 225, steaks not foiled at this time. Will they get tender if left to cook?

G George Curtis TVWBB Olympian Aug 9, 2009 #2 225 is a low temp. will take awhile but i imagine they will get tender. next time up the temp.
